Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College was establishment in 1971 Department of political science was establishing in 1971. The subject political science was stated in senior college in 1971 in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College Aurangabad. The subject political science was started college 1971 for Arts faulty.
The response for students was good and about 100 to 120 were admitted now the total strength of the student in is 100 two full time lecturer is working in the senior college. The department deals with the BASIC CONCEPTS OF POLITICAL SCIENCE, MAHARASHTRA GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS, INDIAN GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS, INTERNATIONAL RALATIONS, INDIAN POLITICAL THINKERS, WESTERN POLITICAL THINKERS POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES and Project Work.
